2025 Lunar New Year celebrations

On Wednesday, Social Inc. and the International department hosted a Lunar New Year Celebration welcoming the Year of the Snake with food, games, and community. 

Students and staff came together in an inclusive space to celebrate the rich traditions of Lunar New Year. They explored the art of dumpling-making, savoured delicious dumplings, and tried their hand at Mahjong. Through this meaningful cultural exchange, many discovered surprising connections between Chinese traditions and those of their own home countries and cultures.

A special shoutout to Joyce of Cooking, Hamilton Chinese Association, and volunteers from the Mohawk Chinese Chess Club for helping make the afternoon memorable.
