2025 Mohawk College Educator Development Program graduates

2025 CEDP Mohawk faculty graduates

A big congratulations goes out to the 2025 Mohawk College CEDP (College Educator Development Program) graduates!

43 faculty members graduated from CEDP on June 19, 2025 at Fanshawe College.

CEDP is a 3-phase educator development program for all new full-time faculty hires at Mohawk College. Mohawk College partners with four other colleges in southwestern Ontario, including Fanshawe College, Niagara College, Lambton College and St. Clair College to bring educators together to engage in professional development on all things teaching and learning. CEDP aims to equip educators with the skills and knowledge to enhance their teaching practices and foster student success. Key learning outcomes include designing effective lessons and courses, implementing active learning strategies, using technology to support learning, and adopting evidence-informed professional practices. Participants engage in reflective practice that supports them in assessing student learning, creating inclusive learning environments and engaging in continuous professional development. Each phase consists of 3 days at Fanshawe College, which takes place over a two-year period. In between the phases, faculty participate in communities of practice, mentorship, teaching circles and teaching portfolio development.
