AccessAbility@Mohawk Awareness Week | May 31 - June 4, 2021

Mohawk College joins the rest of Canada to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities and to recognize the efforts of individuals, communities and workplaces that are actively working to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion.

To Celebrate AccessAbility@Mohawk Awareness Week, Mohawk will offer various presentations for faculty, staff and students throughout the week.

What’s happening at Mohawk during AccessAbility@Mohawk Awareness Week:

• Submit a photo for Red Shirt Day of Action for Accessibility and Inclusion.
• Watch various featured films on Accessibility.
• Presentations about Assistive Technology, Accessible Canada Act, DiscoverAbility and the difference between the Social and Medical Model of Disability.
