Adapt: Virtual Graduate Gallery Showcase
The Mohawk College Photography program has been running an online virtual showcase, called Adapt, hosted by Hamilton Artists Inc., featuring some of the graduating students. The program hosted an awards ceremony on May 15, with the virtual exhibit running until May through May 22.
Adapt features works by graduating students in Mohawk College’s Photography still + motion program. Adapt presents diverse approaches to photography by the resourceful students in the 2020 and 2021 graduating cohort. Online visitors can check out the virtual showcase.
A panel of judges scored all submissions, selecting their first, second and third choices in four categories: Commercial, Portrait, On location and Demo Reel. The winners in each category are listed below.
Winner - George Lohin – Poison
Portrait - This category was very close and came down to multiple photos with a small margin of five points
Winner - Lyndsay Wyndham
Runner Up - Udit Panchal
Winner - Aaron Hood
Winner - Michelle Lindsay
