Apply for a 2026 Community Garden Plot
Join the community garden and grow with us!
Mohawk College’s community garden has 50 shared plots available for students, staff, faculty, and community members to grow their own vegetables over the summer. Whether you're an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, you're welcome to join and learn!
Reasons to join the Community Garden:
- Grow your own vegetables—locally and sustainably!
- Learn new skills—no experience necessary; beginners welcome!
- Create a relaxing outdoor space for yourself and colleagues.
- Departments can use plots as an experiential learning space for students.
- Save money on groceries by harvesting your own fresh produce.
Applications are open until April 29, 2026, and will be selected through a lottery system. Applying doesn’t guarantee a plot, but we’ll do our best to accommodate as many applicants as possible.
To apply for the 2026 season, fill out this quick application by April 29, 2026.
