BBT Update: Infosilem Academic Scheduling Modernization Project
As part of the Banner Business Transformation (BBT) program, the Banner Student workstream is undertaking a significant modernization of academic scheduling processes across the college.
What’s changing?
This initiative will replace the legacy SUMMIT system currently used by Academic teams for scheduling and workload planning transitioning these activities to Infosilem ACADEMIC. We’re also upgrading systems used in the Registrar’s Office (EXAM and CAMPUS) to the same cloud environment, helping information flow between scheduling, exams, and space planning.
Being implemented in preparation for the Fall 2027 academic cycle, the new Infosilem solutions will bring Academic teams and the Registrar’s Office scheduling team together on a single integrated platform, creating a more collaborative, efficient, and data-informed approach to scheduling and planning.
To help introduce this important project, a new video has been developed that provides an overview of the initiative, its objectives, and the future-state benefits for the college community. Whether you're directly involved in scheduling or simply interested in learning more about this important BBT initiative, we encourage you to take a few minutes to watch and explore how the Infosilem product suite will support operational excellence and enhance the scheduling experience across the institution.
