Watch the screening of “Canoa” in the McIntyre Theatre on September 30

This summer, Mohawk College had the pleasure of hosting a unique land-based learning opportunity with master canoe builder, Chuck Commanda. Over a two-week period, five Indigenous students worked with Chuck to build a traditional birchbark canoe at the college’s Fennell campus.. The college will be showing a 25-minute documentary on the canoe build, titled Canoa, with four screenings in the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre at the Fennell campus on September  30.

All are welcome to attend the screenings, which will take place at the times listed below.

  • 2 p.m.

This is an open event. No registration is required.
