Mohawk College’s commitment to providing students with a quality education will be demonstrated this spring as part of the College Quality Assurance Audit Process (CQAAP).

CQAAP is an opportunity to validate and showcase our faculty and staff's commitment and hard work to ensure every student gets a quality education at Mohawk College.

The audit uses standards to assess the quality of our academic delivery throughout the program lifecycle, from development to program review and delivery, as well as broader quality assurance measures across all of our services and supports for students and employees.

The college developed the CQAAP video series to help explain the audit process and provide a high-level overview of each standard and the college’s response.

Over the last few weeks, we have showcased a different standard. Today, we focus on Standard 5.

Standard 5 focuses on publishing and consistently applying college policies and procedures and their timely review and revision. While this standard focuses on the policies related to academic deliveries and registration processes, it explores the college's general framework to manage its corporate policies.

To learn how the college meets the requirements of Standard 5, please watch the video linked below.

The video series and more information on the standards and associated requirements for the CQAAP audit can also be found on the college’s CQAAP webpage, which is linked here.

The project manager for the audit is Lorraine McKellar, Manager of Academic Special Projects. Please contact Lorraine if you have any questions about the audit or your area’s involvement. She can be reached by email at lorraine.mckellar@mohawkcollege.ca.

Thank you for your dedication to quality assurance and your engagement with the process.
