Digital Creativity Centre: Makerspace
Have you checked out the Mohawk College Makerspace at Fennell Campus yet?
WHAT is it?
We have 3D printers, a laser cutter/engraver, a UV printer, a CriCut, a vinyl cutter, t-shirt and more – all available for student use! We’ve had students create something with wow factor for assignments, to capstone project creations.
WHERE IS IT?
Drop by EA105 anytime (M-W-F 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and Tu-Th 8:30 am - 7:30 pm) to see the art of the possible!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
If you are working on an assignment or school-based project, use is completely free! If you want to create your own t-shirt design, make a gift for a loved one, or just start a new hobby, we have a small charge for the materials. Payment is done through your ONE Card at the Digital Creativity Centre.
HOW CAN I GET STARTED?
We have open Makerspace workshops every Wednesday 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm and open Makerspace nights Tuesday and Thursday evenings 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
If you have a project you would like to undertake, or would like more information on the Makerspace – please email makerspace@mohawkcollege.ca and inquire about your project.
Or simply drop by the Digital Creativity Centre EA105 and say hello to our team.
We hope to see you soon!
