Tony Cupido to Speak at Nov 16 PIVOT TECH Conference

Dr. Tony Cupido, Research Chair, Sustainable Building Technologies at Mohawk College, will speak at the 2nd annual PIVOT TECH Conference in Hamilton on Nov 16.

The event is a gathering of innovators devoted to transformative change. This year’s theme is Deep Decarbonization: Technologies to Net Zero. Dr. Cupido will participate in a segment focusing on the benefits of low-carbon buildings. The goal of the conference is to advance the adoption of carbon-cutting technologies and practices while stimulating job creation in the low-carbon economy. Much of the content will be drawn from Hamilton-based examples that showcase progress in meeting local and regional carbon reduction targets, including those in the energy-intensive manufacturing sector.

PIVOT TECH ’23 is suited to sustainability leaders, innovators and practitioners in fields ranging from engineering design, construction, and operations to energy systems and city planning.

Tickets range from $45 for students to $80 for general admission.
