Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Progress Report

In May 2021, Mohawk College launched its first college-wide action plan focused on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). The EDI Action Plan was the result of a year-long process of research, consultation and collaboration between departments and people at all levels of the organization. Below is a link to a report that highlights our progress over the past two years and reviews the college’s performance under the five EDI commitments as outlined in the plan. Where appropriate, it also includes additional steps that have been taken that, while not included in the initial plan, are important to the college's broader commitments to EDI.  Planning for the next phase will begin this fall and  conclude with the release of an updated action plan next summer.
