Level 3 Electrical Technology Class

The 20 students in the Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship program at the Marshall School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship demonstrated the true meaning of a hero as they came together to save the life of Mohawk faculty member, Jason Wilson. On November 7, 2018, Jason Wilson collapsed in the PLC lab. Jason’s students immediately jumped into action, beginning CPR. The students also contacted emergency services and made sure someone was there to meet the ambulance upon arrival and direct them to where Jason was as quickly as possible. Their quick and decisive action saved Jason’s life, and for this they truly are heroes to everyone at Mohawk, and especially to Jason and his family. Recognize someone who's making a difference at Mohawk with an Everyday Hero Award at www.mohawkcollege.ca/everydayhero.
