For everything she does to support applicants and students, Kayla Jenkins is a Mohawk College Everyday Hero. Kayla builds rapport and trust with Mohawk applicants and demonstrates general concern for their wellbeing. She is also readily available to support our indigenous learners, working closely with our Indigenous Student Services team to support learners as they transition into post-secondary studies through our Homeward Bound program. She also supports the delivery of sessions on the supports available to help students with registration and with beginning their studies at Mohawk. She also remains available to students throughout their studies, helping them to navigate processes and supports. Students know that Kayla is committed and dedicated to their studies as it shows in each interaction she has with them, for that, she is an Everyday Hero!

Thank you Michael and Ryan, and to the MSA, for the amazing food and excellent service you have provided to students and employees over the past two years.
