For her support of colleagues, Program Support Scheduling Officer, January Coward is a Mohawk College Everyday Hero.
As an example of her dedication, in the fall of 2023 January covered for her colleagues when two of three schedulers were off due to unexpected medical leaves. It was at a critical point in the semester for scheduling deadlines and January agreed to help to make sure deadlines were met. Without January’s willingness to help winter semester prep would have stalled. In addition to being excellent at her job, January is a ball of positive energy and spreads it around to her office. Whether it is dressing up as a dinosaur or bringing in costumes for team building, January loves to spread joy to co-workers.

For his commitment to students, Technologist - Aviation, Adam McIntyre is a Mohawk College Everyday Hero.
As an example of his dedication, Adam is always coming to work early and staying late to help out his fellow coworkers with events such as the President's Breakfast, Student Orientations, and Open House to ensure students have a great experience during their education at Mohawk College. He goes the extra mile to assist students and making sure they have the proper tools and safety materials to get the job done right. Adam’s charismatic attitude and ability to adapt create an inclusive/friendly environment that make coming into work enjoyable at the aviation campus.
