Rob Morrallee

For delivering outstanding customer service, driving innovation and living the college’s core values, Rob Morrallee is a Mohawk Everyday Hero. Rob joined Mohawk in 2012 and serves as the college’s Manager of Parking, ONE Card and Printing Services. Rob leads a team that issues over 40,000 ONE Cards annually, manages more than 3,000 long-term and 10,000 event and short-term parking permits and oversees a print shop and fleet of printers that make more than four million impressions a year. Mohawk’s ONE Card has won three awards for innovation among North American colleges and universities. Along with providing outstanding leadership, Rob was recognized by his colleagues for delivering exceptional service to visitors and special guests to the college. Rob was presented with his Everyday Hero Award by President Ron McKerlie and Chief Business Development and Ancillary Services Officer Troy Heath. Shannon Gould

For setting colleagues up for success, lifelong learner Shannon Gould is a Mohawk College Everyday Hero. Shannon is a three-time Mohawk graduate who joined the college in 1999, working as an Information Technology Technician, Programmer Analyst, Systems and Management Information Analyst, Data Analyst and Corporate Research and Reporting Analyst. Shannon currently serves as the Manager, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance. While no longer working in the Data Analytics department, Shannon helps new staff successfully move into her former role. Shannon has documented the complex systems that underpin key college operations, including enrolment audits and grad clearing. Along with organizing departmental gatherings and team-building activities, Shannon introduced Treat Fridays, where staff take turns bringing in snacks for co-workers. Shannon has served on Mohawk’s Board of Governors as the Support Staff representative and is currently completing her Master of Education at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Shannon was presented with her Everyday Hero Award by President Ron McKerlie, Interim Chief Information Officer Kim Watkins and Vice President Corporate Services Alison Horton. Scheduling Team

For always keeping students top of mind, the Scheduling Team, managed by Leslie Keeping, are Mohawk College Everyday Heros. This team is constantly balancing capacity issues, faculty requirements and increasing enrolment to ensure students have a classroom and a professor for each of their courses - without timetable conflicts and in alignment with College policy. The team is always a pleasure to work with and encourages an atmosphere of collaboration and support. They are a great example of how nurturing strong relationships can make a difference in every day work. Thanks Scheduling Team - You make a very big difference in our world!
