Exciting news for Mohawk College Professor David O'Brien, from the Communications and Liberal Studies department, who will be celebrating the release of his new book, Immaculate Destruction by Pandamonium Publishing House later this month.

David, who has a Master's and PhD in history, was lucky to live and study in both France and Italy in his youth. He hopes these experiences have helped bring authenticity to his writing. He's taught in post-secondary since the late 1980s and has worked at Mohawk since 2003. He currently teaches general-education electives, degree-program electives, and courses in the General Arts and Science Program.

Book Launch:

Mohawk employees and friends are invited to join David at his book launch on Sunday, May 25 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm at the Fool and Flagon on Barton St. in Hamilton. Those interested in purchasing the book and attending the book launch can save on shipping costs with discount code: DAVID2025. You can then pick up your copy at the book launch.

O'Brien book coverSynopsis:

An American military veteran embarking on a soul-searching trip to Europe soon realizes that he’s being pursued by a violent criminal organization. He has accidentally been drawn into an evolving conspiracy that winds through France and Italy and ends up in Rome, targeting the Vatican. As terrorists and special-ops teams do battle across the Eternal City, our hero and heroine desperately fight to avert a catastrophe.

Congratulations to David on this incredible accomplishment!
