Faculty Spotlight: David Clarke

David Clarke, a certified fluid power specialist and instructor at Mohawk College, shares his journey from student to teacher in the same program he studied 20 years ago. After working in the hydraulic piping industry for over 15 years, he returned to teach at his alma mater, inspired by his passion for fluid power and skilled trades education.

He emphasizes that success in skilled trades comes from teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous learning. David finds the greatest reward is watching students grow, graduate, and later succeed in their careers. Watch David Clarke's video on YouTube.
