Fall 2025 Orientation Information
Our Student Life team, along with many services and supports from across the college, are looking forward to welcoming incoming students, as well as a chance to engage with the Mohawk College community that:
- Supports academic preparedness
- Helps build a sense of belonging
- Creates campus familiarity
- Allows for the completion of administrative tasks
- Makes space for peer connections, mentorship, and fun!
Academic Orientations
Tuesday, September 2
Most Academic Orientations will be happening on Tuesday, September 2. This is an opportunity for first semester students to connect directly with faculty from their programs and to learn about curriculum and expectations as they begin their academic journey at Mohawk College.

College Activities
Tuesday, September 2
Fennell Campus: Service Fair, Interactive Art Stations, Campus Scavenger Hunt, Karaoke Zone, Game Zone - various times from 10 am - 3 pm
Stoney Creek Campus: Campus Scavenger Hunt, Game Zones - various times from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
There will also be a "Sensory Zone" at both campuses where students can take a breather and relax in a quieter space.
Tuesday, September 9 & Thursday, September 11
IAHS Campus: Interactive Art Stations, Campus Scavenger Hunt, Activity Hub - various times from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

M Cup Challenge
Tuesday, September 2, 2025 | 3:00 pm
Students will compete in teams to complete a series of challenges in the first-ever Orientation M Cup Challenge. Each activity in the grid will require a different set of skills and a different approach to teamwork. Come watch and cheer on a team as they go "into the grid"!
Welcome Back Celebrations
Wednesday, September 3 - Friday, September 5
Open to both first and upper semester students, join us for activities taking place throughout the week. Students will get to connect and re-connect with friends, while engaging with the many services the college offers.

Fall Semester Student Socials
In-person student socials begin for all students on September 10. Socials take place on various dates across the Fennell, Stoney Creek, IAHS, Airport, and Wentworth Heights campuses. Check out the full list on the events calendar.
