Farm Stand Kale Chips
Using fresh local ingredients is an easy way to elevate any dish while supporting our local farmers! Check out this Kale Chips Recipe using fresh local ingredients from the Local Food Farm Stand at the Fennell Campus!
Ingredients
- 1 lb (500 g) Ontario Kale, coarse stems removed and leaves torn, (about 8 cups/2 L)
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
- 2 cloves Ontario Garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) sweet paprika
- Pinch each coarse salt and pepper
Instructions
- In large bowl, toss together kale, oil, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Use hands to toss, coating leaves well by massaging in the oil.
- Arrange kale leaves on two parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheets. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven, switching trays halfway, until kale is crisp and slightly browned, about 20 minutes.
- Enjoy!
