Get caught up on your MyLearning training modules

Looking to fill some time between conference calls.

There are several important Mohawk specific training modules housed in the Learning section of the Working at Mohawk portal that employees can access and complete while at home. See the attached guide on “How to Access WAM and Learning Search” to learn more about searching for Learning within Working at Mohawk.

While some employees have completed these modules, there are still many that have not. This is a great opportunity to have employees not only catch up on training that has not been completed, but also refresh their understanding of topics that are important to the college.

This includes the following training modules:

IT Security:

  • Mohawk College IT Security Awareness Training
  • Mohawk College Phishing Prevention Training

Health & Safety: Recently migrated to MyLearning:

  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Occupational Health & Safety Awareness Training for workers in 4 steps
  • Occupational Health & Safety Awareness Training for supervisors in 5 steps

Sexual Assault & Sexualized Violence:

• Sexual Assault and Sexualized Violence Employee Learning

Other training available:

We also recommend employees review the following:

  • Mohawk College Performance Management for Admin employees
  • Leave Reporting Guides -for employees and for managers.

LinkedIn Learning through Working at Mohawk-MyLearning

Employees can also take advantage of thousands of online learning modules through LinkedIn Learning. To access LinkedIn Learning, click on: Working at Mohawk. You can search from over 8,000 LinkedIn Learning modules by using the Learning Search. Hover over “Learning” and select “Learning Search”.

HR is also curating additional training and resources related to working remotely, self-care, health and wellness, leading teams virtually and other recommend training as we adjust to a new normal. If you are looking for anything specific for you and your teams feel free to reach out to the PD team to create a custom collection of recommended online learning.
