Hamilton to move back into “Grey” or Lockdown zone starting Monday, March 29

On Monday, March 29, the City of Hamilton will move into the “Grey” or Lockdown zone, as defined by Ontario’s COVID-19 Response Framework “Keeping Ontario Safe and Open”.

The change in status will not impact the remainder of the Winter 2021 semester for the majority of Mohawk students. Mohawk will remain open for in-person learning with current health and safety protocols in place. A small number of programs may need to adjust their delivery in order to meet the requirements of the Grey zone designation. Students in these programs will be contacted by their program area directly.

Please note that effective today, Friday, March 26, the college has changed the requirements for Personal Protective Equipment at all campuses. Information on the new requirements can be found here: https://www.mohawkcollege.ca/covid-19-coronavirus/updates-on-covid-19-coronavirus.

The health and safety of our campus community is our highest priority. We must all continue to do our part to keep our campuses and the Hamilton community safe. Please consider the choices you make carefully. Follow the direction of our Public Health authorities and understand what you need to do to keep yourself and the people you care about safe.

Access to campus will continue to follow the established screening protocols. Please make sure you understand these protocols before you come to campus.
