Health and Safety Moment: Wash Your Hands Frequently
As fall returns with cherished traditions like visiting corn mazes, picking apples and hockey season, it also brings an unwelcome guest: cold and flu season.
It is important to wash your hands often, and use hand sanitizer when washing is not possible. Whenever you touch something in public, like a keyboard or handle, be sure to clean your hands afterwards and avoid touching your face.
Maintaining clean hands can help keep you and others healthy, reducing the risk of getting sick. Germs can be transmitted from person to person or from surfaces to individuals when you touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands, or when you handle food and drinks without first washing your hands.
We can all play our part by taking as many preventive measures as possible.
