According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, practices like meditation can help quiet your mind and look at problems from a calmer and more balanced viewpoint (CMHA, 2020). Over time, these practices can help you manage your response to stressful situations. During these changing times, an opportunity to take pause and focus on the present moment can be useful.

Please join a small team of experienced faculty and staff at Mohawk College who will be offering a daily virtual meditation practice at 12pm from Monday-Friday. Each day, a different person will facilitate a practice that may emphasize the breath, the body, the mind or simply generalized awareness.

We hope to “see” you there!
