These grants are intended to foster the development of new research partnerships by supporting short-term research and development projects aimed at addressing a company-specific problem. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Plan to apply for Engage funding at least 5-8 months in advance of the project start date. If you have a project that you think would benefit from this funding, please contact Neil Wilkinson.

Applications are due January 15. If you have a project that you think would benefit from this funding, please contact Neil Wilkinson.

The MITACS Business Strategy Internship Program is a new program that was initiated through a federal contribution spurred by COVID-19. For the BSI, Mitacs will match $5,000 contributed by a company to provide a student with a $10,000 total stipend for a 4-6 month business-oriented project to help a partner adjust to COVID-19 circumstances and modern challenges. If you have a project that you think would benefit from this funding, please contact Neil Wilkinson.
