In Memory - Anna Gris

It is with great sadness we share the passing of former Mohawk College faculty member, Anna Gris on November 18, 2024, at the age of 82.

Born in Vasto, Italy, Anna immigrated to Canada at the age of 8 with her family and lived a life of hard work, determination, courage and faith. She was a graduate of Cathedral Girls High School and pursued her education at the University of Toronto where she earned two degrees, followed by over 30 years of work at Mohawk College teaching English as a Second Language to new Canadians.
