In Memory - David Ross Pringle

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of David Ross Pringle (April 2, 1936 - April 2, 2023). David taught in Mohawk College's Department of Electrotechnology from 1972 until his retirement in 2001. 

David passed suddenly at his home in Burlington Ontario at the age of 87. Loving dad to Jennifer Lane (Scott), Sarah Jill Barber (Corey), and John Pringle (Laurie), and cherished grandfather to Aidan Barber and Avery Barber. Predeceased by his brothers Donald Pringle and Bruce Pringle. Dave will be missed by his extended family and large network of friends, including those at the Halton Outdoor Club, the Iroquois Canoe and Outing Club, and the Mohawk College Retirees Association. Dave was a graduate of the Ryerson Institute of Technology (1959) and the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (1964), obtaining P.Eng. designation through the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of Ontario (1966). With a passion for electronics and teaching, Dave served as Professor at Mohawk College, Department of Electro-technology (1972-2001). In his retirement, Dave continued to embrace his love of cycling, canoeing, hiking, camping, and traveling. He remained active to the end. As per Dave's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held, but we're to celebrate his life when together. Following cremation, interment will take place at a later date.
