International recognition for 101.5 The Hawk

Radio station wins International Crime Stoppers Award

Mohawk's 101.5 The Hawk received an award for Best Public Service Announcement for a community of more than 300,000 people from Crime Stoppers International. The PSA features the voice of Station Manager Les Palango, who accepted the award from Crime Stoppers of Hamilton this week. The award was announced at a Crime Stoppers International event in The Hague, Netherlands. Presenting the award on behalf of Crime Stoppers of Hamilton was Program Coordinator Hannah Carter and Crime Stoppers Board Member Peter Ciere.
