Dr. Daniel is a Cancer Biologist, Professor, Associate Dean of Research and External Relations in the Faculty of Science at McMaster University. Her research led to the discovery of a new gene called “Kaiso” whose high expression is linked to racial disparities in cancer outcomes.
Dr. Daniel lends her voice to advocate for women, girls, equity deserving groups and is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education. Dr. Daniel is also the co-founder of the Canadian Black Scientists Network.
