IT Maintenance Bulletin - Outages for December 2020

Monthly Server Patching – December 18-19, 2020

On Friday, November 20th, the IT team will be performing maintenance on our server infrastructure from Friday, December 18th at 5:30 pm, to Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 am.  

During this time, many systems will be intermittently impacted, with the exception of the following:

  • MyCanvas
  • All online registrations
  • Self-Service
  • Online payments
  • Mohawk College Website

Ongoing Network Upgrades – November 17 to December 15, 2020

In order to maintain compliance and implement vendor mandated updates to the college’s infrastructure, the IT team will be conducting campus-wide, rolling, network upgrades throughout the period of November 17th to December 15th. The upgrades will take place between the hours of 10:00pm-12:00am Mondays through Thursdays.

The network upgrades affect infrastructure in various rooms such as classrooms, labs and offices. The impact of the upgrades will be minimal with disruptions of less than 10 minutes per area being addressed.
