Thursday, May 16 was the 13^th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day. Here are some things you can do to improve accessibility every day;

Always include alternative text for images.
Make sure your videos have accurate captions.
Use capital letters in your hashtags #LikeThis for #EasierReading.
Remind online meeting attendees that captions are available on both Zoom and Teams.
When verbally responding to a message in an online meeting chat, read the comment out loud.
When writing, separate large pieces of text into smaller paragraphs.
Ensure hyperlink text is underlined and makes sense in terms of the surrounding text and destination.
In Microsoft Word, be sure to use the built-in formatting options for lists and styles.
