Medical Radiation Sciences - Radiography Advanced Diploma program
Radiography, more commonly known as x-ray, is a branch of medical imaging that provides plenty of room for career growth. Radiography technologists (radiographers) can work in a wide range of healthcare settings, ranging from the intensive care unit (ICU) to walk-in imaging clinics.
“Radiography technologists are the foundation of all of imaging,” says Laura Thomas, Associate Dean of Medical Imaging.
Mohawk College’s Radiography Advanced Diploma program uses online learning elements to prepare students for their future on-campus skills intensives and clinical placements, no matter where they are. Students are also matched with healthcare facilities when it comes time to do their clinical placements, helping students across Ontario to begin their careers in radiography.
