We will be joined by Danielle Perkin (Clinical Intake Coordinator, Acquired Brain Injury Community Services) and Katie George (Advanced Rehabilitation Therapist, Acquired Brain Injury Community Services and Mohawk College Professor, Psychology, Liberal Studies) to learn more about the complex symptomology of concussion and how it can impact students within the classroom. The signs, symptoms and complications will be discussed as it relates to student functionality in an academic setting. Learn how you can support or direct students that have experienced a mild traumatic brain injury, to better optimize their healing and academic performance.
