Mohawk College is celebrating Bike Month in Hamilton
Bike Month feature
June is Bike Month, a city-wide celebration of cycling with rides, events, and activities for all ages and abilities. Whether you bike every day or just for fun, there’s something for everyone — and plenty of ways to get involved!
More than just a celebration, Bike Month aims to inspire people to choose cycling, promote safer streets, and support a healthier, greener Hamilton. Join the City of Hamilton, Cycle Hamilton, and local partners and be part of the movement for better biking.
Highlights include:
- Bike Day – Wednesday, June 4, 7:30–9:30am at City Hall
- Celebrate the 17th Annual Bike Day with free refreshments, t-shirts (while supplies last), bike tune-ups by New Hope Community Bikes, and community partner booths. Guided rides to City Hall led by Cycle Hamilton!
- Bike to the Match – Sunday, June 8, 3:30pm kickoff at Hamilton Stadium
- Ride to the Forge FC game with group rides, free bike valet, discounted tickets, prize raffles, and halftime entertainment.
- Open Streets on King – Sunday, June 22, 10am–4pm
- Enjoy a car-free King Street East from John St. to Gage Ave. with space to walk, roll, cycle, and play at Hamilton’s signature open streets event.
