Mohawk College is celebrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Month this March

SDG Month 2026

This national initiative encourages postsecondary institutions across Canada to host workshops, panels, and interactive programming that build awareness of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainability Office and the School of Climate Action are leading a series of events throughout March and inviting students, employees, and departments across the college to attend, contribute to, or host activities as part of SDG Month. 🔗 SDG Month Canada

What are the SDGs?

The SDGs are a global call to action that recognizes the need to end poverty, improve health and education, reduce inequality, spur economic growth, tackle climate change, and protect our oceans and forests. Mohawk College has been a signatory of the SDG Accord since 2022, a global commitment that advances the critical role of education in delivering the goals. 🔗 THE 17 GOALS | Sustainable Development
