Mohawk College Strategic Plan Extended to 2027

As a memo sent on October 25 by President Paul Armstrong mentioned the current Strategic Plan that was launched in 2022 and was set to end next year, has been extended to 2027. The extension was approved by the Board of Governors at its meeting in September.

The extended Strategic Plan has been updated to reflect the realities we face today and includes a renewed focus in a number of strategic directions in areas related to Truth and Reconciliation, international education, climate action and the future of education. The extension to 2027 will give us time to implement strategies that will continue to advance our vision and begin to lay the groundwork for the next strategic plan. As part of the current Strategic Plan extension, we committed to the Board of Governors that we will begin to engage the college community in the development of the next Strategic Plan in late 2025.
