Mohawk College’s new EFAP is Homewood Health
As previously communicated, effective November 1, 2025, Homewood Health became Mohawk College’s Employee and Family Assistance Program provider. Employees will now have access to a full range of health and wellness services available under this program.
The Homewood Health EFAP program includes not only Counselling Services – for when you need professional help with a challenging situation – but also Life Smart Coaching Services.
Life Smart Coaching includes caregiving, life planning, health management, and career management services. Each of the services has been developed to allow you to take a proactive approach to managing everyday challenges and life transitions, and to receive information and support suited to your unique situation.
Counselling and Coaching services are available in person, by phone or video, or via online e-counselling (message exchanges or real-time chat).
In addition to Counselling and Life Smart Coaching, the Homewood Health EFAP program offers access to a new innovative online experience called Pathfinder. Pathfinder is integrated into your experience on Homewood’s online mental health platform Homeweb.ca and is only accessible after registering for a private account (see steps below).
Employees also have access to a variety of online resources to help you take charge of your health and well-being.

Register for a private account (optional)
- Visit homeweb.ca and click ‘Register’.
- Type “Mohawk College” and click ‘Find it!’ Select the correct company from the list provided. Enter your invitation code: MC7480 and click ‘Next Step’
- Enter information into the required fields and click ‘Next Step’.
- Choose your relationship to the organization (e.g. employee, spouse, dependent, etc.) and click ‘Next Step’
- Enter the necessary information and click ‘Create a Homeweb Account’.
