Mohawk Connections on Croatia Vacation
This summer, Laura Thomas, Associate Dean of Medical Imaging and Academic Director of CIAMI and her husband were invited to the wedding of their neighbour’s daughter, Jasmina, in Samobor, Croatia. Jasmina grew up in Dundas and is a graduate of the Medical Radiation Sciences program.
While sitting at the rehearsal dinner Laura met Michelle and her daughter Danielle. Danielle, a Health, Wellness and Fitness graduate, became good friends with Jasmina while they played on the Mohawk College Women's Varsity Basketball team in 2016. Danielle decided to make the trip to the wedding with her mom, Michelle Datzkiw. Michelle also works at Mohawk as an Admissions Officer in the International Department.
“So, after a nine-hour flight and a few hours of travel, we still got to talk about all things Mohawk on our vacation!” says Laura Thomas.
