Mohawk student named an Empowered Kids Ontario Scholar - In the News

Thalia Avgousti, who is pursuing Recreational Therapy at Mohawk, was named one of six students honoured as an Empowered Kids Ontario Scholar this month.

An accomplished athlete, motivational speaker and natural leader, Thalia was recognized for inspiring young people with disabilities to believe in themselves to reach their full potential.

Empowered Kids Ontario-Enfants Avenir Ontario is a business name used by the Ontario Association of Children's Rehabilitation Services.
