Mohawk Students to Serve and Protect

The Hamilton Police Swearing In Ceremony occurred this past week, and Mohawk had over 25 students in attendance from the Advanced Police Studies program. Through a new mentoring program with Hamilton Police, students were invited to the ceremony for the kick off of a new Award of Excellence for the Top Advanced Police Studies Graduate.

The inaugural award was presented to Mohawk graduate, Ryan Durand who has been hired into the cadet program with Halton Regional Police.
The commitment through the Hamilton Police Service is another example of the strength of community partnerships. These relationships build pathways for students as they graduate and become part of the community.
