Mohawk women win Ontario title and then get even better

January 9, 2026| “Halfway through the schedule, the Mountaineers are undefeated in league play and ranked No. 2 in the country. Two of their Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) wins have been by 30-plus points, while two others have been by more than 40. On the weekend, they scored a school record 118 points in a game.”

January 13, 2026| "The Mountaineers, who captured the OCAA championship last season, have opened the 2025-26 campaign with a perfect 9-0 record. Mohawk is averaging a plus-30 point differential and has won every game by at least 10 points.

Mohawk's dominance has continued into the new year. During the holiday break, the Mountaineers earned two non-conference wins, defeating the Durham Lords 85-26 before setting a program record with 118 points in a 62-point victory over the Georgian Grizzlies. In their return to conference play, Mohawk posted a 90-56 win over the Redeemer Royals."
