Room Access Information through WhereEnCampus

We have some news that we hope you find exciting and useful!

Over the years academic areas and employees have been unaware of how to enter or gain access to rooms assigned to them to teach or that they have booked for a meeting. This has resulted in many calls to Security for assistance and delays in utilizing the rooms.

For the past few years, we have worked to ensure that all general classrooms are fully open and accessible during college operating hours, which has been a success.

Over the summer, Security & Emergency Management partnered with the Room Booking team to determine how we can make this even easier for you. We are happy to share that the WhereEnCampus portal on MyMohawk has been updated to provide information on how best to access the room.

When you click on the room you are requesting, check under “detail,” and you will see the room characteristics. Included in this area is

• Key Entrance – submit a key application to receive a key to enter the room to maintenance@mohawkcollege.ca
• Access Card Entrance – submit an email application to have your Mohawk OneCard programmed to accessrequest@mohawkcollege.ca

If nothing is listed, the room will be unlocked.
