Spaghetti dinner fundraiser in support of student Guatemala trip
Help support an upcoming global experience trip! From February 14 – 22, students from Mohawk College and McMaster University will travel to a rural community near Jutiapa, Guatemala, to partner with Dream, Invest, Grow. During this trip, students and faculty will work in remote mountain communities on healthcare initiatives, including the installation of smokeless stoves.
To raise funds for this important work, they're hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, January 17, at St. Elizabeth’s Village in Hamilton.
Chef Mario Comegna, former owner of Amici’s and DiMario’s Trattoria in Burlington, is coming out of retirement to prepare the meal!
Cost:
- $25 per person
- $20 for Mohawk/McMaster students
Take-out option available for the same price (pick up at St. Elizabeth’s Village).
