Upcoming PD Webinars
Lighten Up Your Day | December 14
Injecting humour both at work and into your personal life is just what the doctor ordered. Laughing does not just feel good, it also has a positive effect on your health by helping to relieve stress, tension, and anxiety and by increasing your heart rate and blood circulation. This seminar will highlight the benefits of adding humour into participants’ lives and discuss appropriate ways of incorporating it into the workplace.
Thinking Traps | December 17
This workshop allows participants to explore how our thoughts can cause decreases in productivity and passions. Participants will be able to explore complex views that define thoughts and action plans to overcome them.

According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, practices like meditation can help quiet your mind and look at problems from a calmer and more balanced viewpoint (CMHA, 2020). Over time, these practices can help you manage your response to stressful situations. During these changing times, an opportunity to take pause and focus on the present moment can be useful.
