We’re making some changes that will help students access services better

Ensuring students can quickly and easily access the service and support they need is a priority for Mohawk College. This fall, the college is implementing changes that will help students find and access the help they need faster.

All International Admissions and Student Services now located in J137

Following the establishment of the unified International Education division on April 1, 2023, there were some changes in the reporting structures for the International Admissions and Student Services teams. These changes resulted in some International services relocating from C102, The Square, to J137, the Language and Culture Centre at the Fennell campus. Signage at the Fennell campus has been updated to direct International students to the appropriate areas for service.

New signage being installed to identify service areas at all campuses.

Service area identification signage is being installed at all campuses. The signage features the Here to help logo and clear bulleted lists of what services students can find at each location. As part of this work, signage in and around C102 is being updated to ensure available services are clearly visible to students and employees.

Name change coming for The Square.

Beginning December 11, C102 will no longer be called The Square. At the Fennell campus, C102 will be called the Registrar’s Office, keeping the Information desk as the first stop for general support questions from students.​ At the IAHS and Stoney Creek campuses, spaces currently known as The Square will be renamed Student Services desks. ​

All that’s changing is the name. These locations will continue to be the go-to place for students to get their questions answered and access the services they need. ​

​Signage at each campus will updated throughout December and include the Here to help tagline for easy identification. The information will also be updated on our website.
