World Mental Health Day

World-Mental-Health-Day

The theme for this year's World Mental Health Day is Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.

The goal is to raise global awareness of mental health issues and fight the social stigma surrounding mental illness. This year's campaign highlights the importance of listening to people who have lived experience with mental health conditions. It calls for using these personal insights to shape mental health policies, design better services, and challenge social stigma. Awareness is vital, but real change and better well-being come from taking concrete steps.

Homewood Health, our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider, offers a variety of resources and tools to support mental health, wellness, and overall well-being.

To explore resources and access other helpful EFAP supports, visit the Health, Safety & Wellness page on MyMohawk for instructions on accessing Homewood Health or visit www.homeweb.ca and click ‘sign in”, and enter the email: MohawkCollege@Efap.com and Password: MohawkEFAP#1.
