2024 Budget Town Hall Video

More than 300 employees attended the Budget Town Hall on June 12. If you missed it, you can watch the recording of the 2024/2025 Annual Virtual Town Hall Meeting. 

Below are two questions that were submitted during the session that were not answered during the live portion of the event. If you asked a question that is not included below it is because we do not have the answer to that question at this time.

Can the college provide any details on what a flexible workspace at the Fennell campus could look like and what areas will be using that space? 

The college will be moving forward with a pilot flexible workspace next year. The location and design will be finalized later this year. Participants will be volunteers who are interested in testing the concept. Employees will have an opportunity to visit the space when it opens in 2025.

How will the increased Student Housing balance between International and Domestic students?

All students, domestic or international, can apply for on- or off-campus housing at the college. Mohawk College currently has two housing options available, a 340-bed residence at the Fennell campus and another 300-bed, off-campus location in downtown Hamilton. The downtown location is leased by the college.
