Animals on Campus Policy and Procedures

Mohawk College is committed to maintaining an environment that is accessible and inclusive to all members of the campus community.

The Animals on Campus Policy helps to ensure the health and safety of the entire campus community.

As a reminder, prior to an animal being permitted on campus, the Animals on Campus Application must be submitted and approved. This includes support, therapy or service animals as well as events that bring in any type of animal.

The application is to be completed a minimum of 20 days before the requested date, and approval must be received before an animal can be brought on campus.
