April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)
SAAM is a time to come together as a campus community to raise awareness, support survivors, and promote a culture of respect and consent.
Creating a safer campus starts with everyday actions. It can be as simple as checking in with friends, respecting boundaries, and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right.
Have you visited the Boundary garden yet? For the month of April visit the Boundary Garden at the Social Inc. space (F114) at the Fennell campus and write down a personal boundary to attach to our flower wall.
We encourage all members of the Mohawk College community to access campus resources and continue conversations that foster safety and accountability.
If you or someone you know needs support, confidential help is available through the Student Rights and Responsibilities Office srro@mohawkcollege.ca.
Together, we can build a community where everyone feels safe, supported, and respected.
