Congratulations to our most recent recipients.

For regularly stepping in to assist colleagues with special projects and events and making time to volunteer and mentor others, Lauren Griffiths is a Mohawk College Everyday Hero.

Despite having several projects on the go at all times, Lauren still finds the time for the little things such as filling baskets for those in need at Christmas (or coming up with creative costumes at Halloween). She excels in her seconded role as an Experiential Learning Specialist and offers her time and energy to assist other projects in The Centre for Teaching & Learning. Recently, she jumped in to assist the Curriculum Development Specialists of the department at conferences outside of the city, while committing time to run multi-day PD sessions for other employees at the college about Mental Health First Aid. She has also offered to assist in filling the gap as the Educational Technology Specialist to assist with eLearn needs in CTL for January. Within her department, she has been considered a great mentor and role model.
