Four Mohawk medalists awarded in Skills Ontario Competition 2022

Michaella Kruizinga follows up 2021 silver with a gold in 2022

Four Mohawk students were among the medalists announced on May 4 in the 2022 Skills Ontario Competition.

The Skills Ontario Competition offers a unique opportunity for top students to demonstrate that they are the best of the best in their field. Over the two and a half days, they turn the heads of their educators, family, friends and prospective employers. Most of this year’s competitions had to be conducted remotely.

Michaella Kruizinga won gold in the Graphic Design – Studio Production category, bettering her result of silver in the same category last year.

Also in the Graphic Design – Studio Production category, Claire Price won bronze while representing Mohawk.

Maya Chandler won silver in Photography.

And, Jordan Beatty won silver in the Auto Collision Repair category.
